We have had Shona mind our motel on several occasions. She is very efficient, highly organised and extremely courteous and friendly. We have had only positive comments from our guests about Shona when she was in charge of the motel. It is lovely to be able to have a break away knowing that the motel is in such capable hands. We got to know Shona while working at the Seagulls Guesthouse in Mount Maunganui. She was in charge when we arrived and it was a pleasure to work with her. She always made sure that things were done while having a great attitude and being super nice to us!

Shona looked after our motel while we took our daughter down to University.Shona is very professional and quickly pick up what was required to run our motel even she was 1st time here. Shona even looked after our 2 cats well save us sending them to the cattery!Thank you Shona. We would definitely have you back again next time.

Recently on more than one occasion we stayed at TeMata lodge where Shona Mackay was our host.Terrific lady who made us so welcome and made sure we had everything we needed every day. I thoroughly recommend her to care for your Motel in the owners absence.

Good location. One of the better motels we have stayed in. Ample room, good facilities. Helpful staff supplying cot for baby and very approachable manager. Thoroughy recommended.

I’m writing to you, to tell you of the many fine qualities, and strengths of Shona Mackay, whom I met while she was minding Carramar Motor Inn, in Palmerston North. Shona is a hardworking, and dedicated person.As a retired teacher, I have the highest respect for Shona, for the way in which she deals with any situation, and the very personal care she gave me.My husband is seriously ill, and this is the second time I’m experiencing Shona’s professional, courteous, and respectful way she does her job.. She always have a shoulder for me to cry on, and a hug. She goes out of her way to help, and support.I don’t think she realises how very much I appreciate her kindness! Apart from this, Shona is generous, and full of enthusiasm.I will never forget this, I’m going through hard times, but I always felt I was looked after with love and care.Thank you so much Shona!

Shona very capably handled everything we asked of her while away for a week from our motel. All administration was dealt with absolutely correctly and efficiently so that we returned with very little to catch up on at all, which we so appreciated. We would be very happy to have Shona relieve for us again and recommend her highly for anyone requiring relief management.

This is the second time Shona has minded our motel for us so we could have a holiday in Samoa. We left feeling very confident that she had every thing under control. We use motelmate for our booking system and she is totally ofay with it, to the point that she taught me a few things. Shona is more than competent to run a motel and we would not hesitate to sing her praises and recommend her. Shona quickly learnt what was required to run our property and did it very efficiently. She even assisted with improving some computer processes.
We were very pleased with her work and would have no hesitation in recommending Shona to care for your property.
We would definitely have Shona back again to mind Shadzz Motel!

Shona was a great asset to the team while we were away and got on very well with our staff, which is always a bonus when leaving someone in charge of your most valuable asset - your staff! She is quick to pick up on the way you do things and is very well presented in the front office. Would recommend Shona to your business!

My husband and I got married on 27/02/16 at our home in Wainuiomata. We had guests/family from out of town, so booked them into BK's Motor Lodge in Petone (as well as ourselves) for our occasion. Shona couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Allowing a couple of our guests into there rooms much earlier on the Saturday so that they didn't have t wait around for 2pm, seeing as their flights got them in early. She bent over backwards to make our stay a really enjoyable one. And when my husband and I got back to our room at the end of the night from our reception, we found a lovely bottle of bubbles and note saying congratulations and that she hoped our day was awesome and all the best for our lives together. Such a lovely touch and very thoughtful. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending BK's to anyone in the future. Thanks Shona !!

Adrian & Shona came to relieve at the motel I am working for, they were very easy going, helpful and very professional to our team and Shona was very welcoming to our guests. Big thanks to Shona and Adrian for giving our managers a break, hope I get to work with you again. :-)

Got to stay here for a second night on a business conference trip to Palmerston North quite amazing place absolutely perfectly clean and Shona as relief person in reception was very helpful and couldn't be more accommodating. I would highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay next time I come to Palmerston North. The room is really big, bed is very comfortable and there is a spa. From now on my trip to Palmerston North won't be so bad because we have such a nice place to stay.

Shona, Adrian have recently become part of our team at BKs Motor Lodge giving Kelvin & I our breaks.We have found they are very professional and have an excellent attitude in this industry. They are relief managers with strengths and willing to work with other staff to get the tasks on hand completed quickly and efficiently. Shona has excellent skills in reception and back office and has a very professional manner with the guests. Glad to have them on board at BKs
